About HTX Learning
Meet Blaire Breaux
Director, HTX Learning
Born and raised in Houston, Blaire is passionate about giving back to the community that shaped her. Before founding HTX Learning, she spent a decade as a dedicated public school teacher in Spring Branch ISD, where she developed a deep understanding of the diverse learning needs of students.
As a diagnostician, Blaire combines her classroom experience with clinical insight to help individuals of all ages reach their fullest potential. She is especially committed to providing compassionate, personalized assessments that empower families and support academic success.
HTX Learning offers services including psychoeducational and language evaluations, re-evaluations, testing for extended time, gifted and talented assessments, SAT/ACT modifications, and school consultations.
Having been a public school teacher in Spring Branch ISD for 10 years, Blaire brings an insightful perspective to evaluations and accommodations. She had the privilege of serving a diverse population of students with a broad spectrum of needs. This experience has helped Blaire be a thorough diagnostician with extensive background knowledge on learning differences and how to help each individual meet their full potential, whether it be in the classroom or the workplace.
The children or young adults that HTX Learning works with vary in age, ranging from kindergarten through the college (and beyond) age level.
The evaluation she conducts helps identify the sources of an individual’s struggles, frustrations, and underachievement. This evaluation aims to help individuals display their true capabilities to reach their full potential.
When Blaire is diagnosing learning disabilities (including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia), she uses a variety of cognitive, achievement, and oral tests. The results from these tests lead to a better understanding of how an individual learns and also reveal strengths and weaknesses, which directs us to a plan of action.
The assessments at HTX Learning are thorough, with many goals in mind. It is essential to find an individual’s strengths and weaknesses so that we can discover how they learn best. Then, a plan is created to help you or your child progress toward your goals and true potential.
